Individuality and moxie were shoved aside as classics like Jacob and Emma re-took the top of the list, according to a US survey, and political names such as Jackson and Madison saw a resurgence.
"I think it is nostalgia. We want to hold onto our past and keep our memories going and feel comforted," says one mom who dubbed her son Joshua. But celebs, a la Jungle Book nuts Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz (hello, Bronx Mowgli), need not apply.
