Sarah Palin surprised reporters yesterday by coming to the back of her campaign plane to take questions from the press corps for the first time ever, Fox News reports. The candidate spoke in her trademark rambling style for nearly 15 minutes aboard what reporters had dubbed the "No-Talk Express." Palin addressed the Troopergate scandal and defended linking Barack Obama to political radical Bill Ayers.
Palin said her focus on the Ayers connection was relevant in light of the economic crisis because it raised questions about the candidate's "forthrightedness" on the issues. Palin told reporters she'd love to appear on Saturday Night Live to give Tina Fey a taste of her own medicine. "I love her. She’s a hoot," said Palin.
