Todd Palin plans to speak later this month with an investigator probing abuse-of-power allegations against his wife, his attorney tells the AP. He previously ignored a subpoena ordering him to testify in a parallel probe by the Alaska legislature into the Palins' role in the firing of a public safety commissioner who refused to ax a state trooper divorcing Sarah Palin's sister.
Findings in the legislature's probe are due to be released this week—unless the Alaska Supreme Court grants a Republican appeal to block the report. Todd Palin's attorney said the court's decision may affect whether his client speaks to the investigator in that probe.
