Charles Gibson's interviews with Sarah Palin will be featured on a special prime-time edition of ABC's 20/20 tomorrow, reports AP. Gibson is traveling to Fairbanks and Wasilla, Alaska, for the first TV interviews with Palin since she was selected as John McCain's running mate. Excerpts will be shown on ABC's World News this evening.
The special will include also a bio of Palin and a round-table discussion on the presidential race. Palin has proved to be a ratings-grabber since emerging on the national political scene. Fox's recent documentary, Governor Palin: An American Woman was the highest-rated prime-time documentary in the network's history, with 2.7 million viewers. CNN plans a Palin special this weekend.
