Lohan Gets Political: Palin Baby Drama 'Distracting'

Lindsay Lohan has some advice for Sarah Palin: Stick to the issues. On her MySpace blog, the actress writes that she’s “concerned” John McCain’s GOP running mate “brought the attention to her daughter’s pregnancy, rather than all world issues and what she believes she could possibly do to change them—if elected.” The disclosure is “distracting voters,” Lohan writes.

“The real problem comes from the fact that we are taking the focus off of getting to know Sarah Palin,” she continues. Lohan also used the opportunity to address sex education, MTV notes: Parents should “recognize how important it is to talk to their children about the things that can result from being sexually active if they aren’t protecting themselves.” (More Lindsay Lohan stories.)
