Wishing your summer could be one giant pool party? Imagine we told you it could—and that you'd get paid handsomely for it. For one lucky person, that prospect will become reality when they're hired for the CPO (chief pools officer) position now being advertised by private pool rental company Swimply, reports Fox Business. "During what may be the hottest summer on record, Swimply's first-ever CPO will cannonball into as many Swimply pools as possible from July to September," visiting all 50 states in their quest, notes a release. The CPO will review the pools they visit, as well as document their experiences on social media; pull together travel guides; and throw pop-up pool parties.
For their efforts, the winning candidate will earn a $50,000 base salary (which they'll have to tap into to cover all travel expenses and floaties), plus "up to $50,000 in performance bonuses based on content engagement and the number of pools visited throughout the term." To apply, interested parties simply need to book a nearby pool through Swimply, then create a video reel showing how they'd show off the pools they visit during their journey. Top contenders chosen from that first round of applicants will then go on to an interview with Swimply's CEO and a "Swimming Screen Test." "If you have a passion for pools and a splash of charisma, we're looking for you to help spread the Swimply sunshine," the Swimply release notes. "Jump in—the water's great!" Apply here by June 15.
