Three children in an Oregon vacation home were killed early yesterday morning when a small plane crashed into the house. The pilot and passenger in the single-engine aircraft were also killed, reports the Portland Oregonian. Parents of two of the children, ages 8 and 12, were out walking when the crash occurred.
A mother and her son and daugher were also found severely burned in the house, which two families had rented for a holiday stay. "The whole house was engulfed," said a neighbor. "The fire was going straight up." (More Oregon stories.)
