Tom Brady has said that his split with Gisele Bundchen has been "a very amicable situation," and his ex's latest home purchase seems to prove that's the case. Page Six reports the supermodel has closed on an $11.5 million five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home in Miami Beach, with what the outlet describes as a "nearly direct view" across Indian Creek of Brady's under-construction mansion on Indian Creek Island, aka Billionaire Bunker (see an image showing the homes' locations here). "You could literally swim from Gisele's place to Tom's—not that they would—but both homes will include a dock, so it would be very easy for them to co-parent their children while living so close to each other," a source says.
The new 6,600-square-foot Bundchen residence—described in its listing as being "architecturally unique" and a "perfect family home," per Mansion Global—boasts an ample-size outdoor pool, home theater, gym, office, playroom, multiple terraces, and "soaring 25-foot ceilings," per Page Six. It's also located on a set-back cul-de-sac, which will afford Bundchen and her brood a little more privacy. The 42-year-old model is said to have first checked out the home in mid-August and closed on the waterfront property on Oct. 6.
"Gisele was actively looking at homes in Miami Beach even before Tom took his [11-day] break from the NFL, which indicates that she was already done with the marriage and moving on," a source tells Page Six. However, although that outlet reports that Bundchen "secretly" scooped up the property, it appears it wasn't a secret to Brady: Sources tell TMZ the NFL player was well aware his ex was buying this home, and that it was an intentional move to facilitate co-parenting of 12-year-old Benjamin and 9-year-old Vivian, as well as Jack, 15, Brady's son from a previous relationship.
