Former CBS News correspondent Lara Logan has some out-there ideas on immigration—so out there that she's now banned from the right-wing Newsmax network for airing them. The offending interview took place Wednesday with Eric Bolling, who apparently got the first scoop Logan had on the "global cabal" she claims exists at the United Nations and which she says is scheming to get 100 million immigrants to come into the US to "dilute" our "pool of patriots," per the Wrap. "I spoke to a man who was actually holding the documents in his hand. He told me about it," she insisted to Bolling.
"They would not be taught that America is a great country, and trained to sing the national anthem with pride, and so on and so on," Logan said. Bolling then pressed Logan on closed borders and how that squares with God, and Logan had even more to say: God "knows that the open border is Satan's way of taking control of the world through all of these people who are his stooges and his servants," she noted. She then segued into speaking about Israeli historian Yuval Noah Harari and the World Economic Forum—"you know, the ones who want us eating insects, cockroaches, and that while they dine on the blood of children." She finished up with: "They're not gonna win. They're not going to win."
By the next day, Newsmax had issued its persona non grata edict. "Newsmax condemns in the strongest terms the reprehensible statements made by Lara Logan, and her views do not reflect our network," a network rep said in a statement, per CNN Business, which deems her comments a "QAnon-style rant." "We have no plans to interview her again." Logan has said she was similarly dumped earlier this year by Fox News, where she was a host on Fox Nation, after comments in November 2021 in which she compared Dr. Anthony Fauci to Nazi physician Josef Mengele. She told the Hill in April that the network "[doesn't] want independent thinkers. They don't want people who follow the facts regardless of the politics." (More Lara Logan stories.)
