Marriage on the Rocks? Maybe It's Your Birth Order
"The most successful marriages are those where the oldest sister of brothers marries the youngest brother of sisters," says Dr. John Curtis.    (Index Open)

Whether a marriage reaches its gold anniversary or ends up in divorce court could depend on the spouses' birth order, reports Divorce360.com.“There is strong connection between birth order and divorce rates,” says one counselor. “The most successful marriages are those where the oldest sister of brothers marries the youngest brother of sisters.”

If you're a firstborn married to another firstborn, watch out, says one author. “That is two sheep butting heads for territorial rights. It’s a bad match.”  The highest divorce rates, however, result from the pairing of only children. “An only child is used to being the center of attention," says the counselor. "Usually it’s hard for them to share the spotlight.” (More divorce stories.)
