The billionaire who bankrolled the notorious Swift Boat ads discrediting John Kerry's military record during his 2004 presidential run has rejected evidence that the ads were false. T. Boone Pickens offered a million dollars for proof the ads contained falsehoods—but has refused to acknowledge information provided by 10 men who served with Kerry, reports the Dallas Morning News.

"My offer was to pay $1 million for information that would prove any of the ads—which I helped fund—inaccurate," T. Boone Pickens wrote to the men. "None of the information you provide speaks specifically to the issues contained in the ads." (More Swift Boat stories.)
