Two Americans who traveled to Canada using fake vaccine documents have been fined about $16,000 each. They also faked pre-departure COVID tests, and were cited for not complying with Canada's requirements for post-arrival testing and accommodations, Fox News reports. In order to travel to Canada, visitors must have a negative COVID test result before boarding the plane, and then must quarantine at an approved hotel in Canada until another test for COVID comes back negative, but the requirements are eased for fully vaccinated travelers, Canada's public health agency says. The travelers in question arrived in Toronto from the US the week of July 18. (More Canada stories.)
