AstraZeneca Recipients Can See Springsteen After All

AstraZeneca vaccine recipients can see Bruce Springsteen, too. Springsteen will be the man at the helm of Broadway's return, with "Springsteen on Broadway" reopening Saturday in front of a fully vaccinated audience in New York. Originally, only those who'd received an FDA-approved vaccine were to be allowed inside, meaning Moderna, Pfizer, or Johnson & Johnson, per the Guardian. Those who received the AstraZeneca vaccine, which has been approved by the World Health Organization but not the FDA, were out of luck. However, the owners of the St. James Theatre say newly amended state rules mean that AstraZeneca recipients can attend as well, reports Deadline. "Regulations ... changing constantly," tweeted Springsteen guitarist Steven Van Zandt. "Happy ending for the fans." The show runs through Sept. 4. (More AstraZeneca stories.)
