McCain can’t make up for his lack of conservative cred or business acumen with a Mike Huckabee or Carly Fiorina; his policy problems run too deep. In looking to the future, Frum thinks he’s got the man: Rudy Giuliani, who shares McCain’s “vision of a practical, reforming, war-winning Republican Party.” (More John McCain stories.)
