Michael Moore Saves, Exploits His Enemy

The man behind an anti-Michael Moore website found himself on the right end of his target’s checkbook after the documentarian dropped 12K to cover the blogger's uninsured wife's medical expenses. Jim Kenefick received the anonymous gift after seeking help from visitors to Moorewatch.com, which aims to expose Moore's "deceptions and half-truths." 

Moore sent the check a year ago, then called Kenefic from Cannes last month, the day his healthcare film, "Sicko," debuted, to drop the fact that he was the mysterious donor, and that the episode is featured in the film. Kenefick was initially angry, but there's been no talk about returning the check:  "Mike's not the devil or anything," Kenefick tells the Guardian. "It's not like Joe Stalin made me an offer."
