Chris Christie Gives the Latest on His Health

Good news for Chris Christie: The hospital is behind him. The former New Jersey governor tweeted Saturday morning that he's no longer being treated for the coronavirus at Morristown Medical Center, CNN reports. "I want to thank the extraordinary doctors & nurses who cared for me for the last week," he tweeted. "Thanks to my family & friends for their prayers. I will have more to say about all of this next week." The 58-year-old, who is overweight and has a history of asthma, checked himself in Oct. 3 as a precautionary measure after coming down with COVID-19. He's one of over a dozen associates of President Trump to test positive during the past two weeks, per the Star-Ledger. (He apparently did not go on a ventilator.)
