Never mind that Mike Bloomberg wasn't on the ballot in South Carolina, President Trump has weighed in on the results and pronounced his campaign moribund in the wake of Saturday's primary results, reports Fox News. "Sleepy Joe Biden’s victory in the South Carolina Democrat Primary should be the end of Mini Mike Bloomberg’s Joke of a campaign," tweeted the president. "After the worst debate performance in the history of presidential debates, Mini Mike now has Biden split up his very few voters, taking many away!" He also had words for the recently quit Tom Steyer, "who, other than Mini Mike Bloomberg, spent more dollars for NOTHING than any candidate in history."
Biden, meanwhile, was doing a victory lap with about half the vote to Bernie Sanders' 19%, reports the Hill. "Just days ago, the press and the pundits had declared this candidacy dead," he told a rally in Columbia. "Now, thanks to all of you, the heart of the Democratic Party, we just won, and we won big because of you. And we are very much alive." Sanders congratulated Biden, but noted, "There are a lot of states, nobody wins them all. ... And now, we enter Super Tuesday." Sanders is leading solidly in California, with 415 delegates, but he and Biden and tied in Texas, which will hand out 228. (More Michael Bloomberg stories.)
