Harry and Meghan are stepping back as senior members of the British royal family, but if they're looking to join another royal family, Burger King is available to them. "If you’re looking for a job, we have a new crown for you," the fast food chain says in a new ad, per Page Six. "Do as thousands of people and take your first steps in the world of work with us." In addition to helping the couple become financially independent, the restaurant says that "after so many years of living as dukes, it is time for you to start eating like kings." Fox News notes that ad campaign actually came from Burger King Argentina, but the US branch also weighed in.
"[Y]ou always have a job in our kingdom," Burger King US said in a tweet last week, followed by one this week reading, "harry, this royal family offers part-time positions." Perhaps our favorite response to BK's tweets came when this Twitter user replied to the chain with, "Can I marry you," leading to a reply from BK reminding her, "we are a restaurant." But not everyone was amused: "He's giving up being a 'senior royal', not his dignity," reads another tweet response. (More Burger King stories.)
