There's no question anymore: John Boyega really did leave his script for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker under his bed for a cleaner to find and put on eBay. "It was me," the actor who plays Finn confirmed Wednesday on Good Morning America following co-star Daisy Ridley's hint that he was the culprit. Boyega explained he left the script behind after moving out of his apartment. "I was just like, you know what, I'll leave it under my bed. When I wake up in the morning I'll take it," he said.
But come morning, "my boys came over and, you know, we started partying a little bit and then the script just—it just stayed there," Boyega said. The cleaner who found the script a few weeks later didn't quite know its value, listing it for about $84, Boyega said. But even if Disney hadn't swiftly bought it back, the secrets of the film might not have been revealed. Boyega said several different endings were shot and he won't know which appears in the film until his first viewing next week. Still, he's hinted that Finn could find love with someone other than Ridley's Rey, per ComicBook.com. (More Star Wars stories.)
