Police in Alabama are asking for the public's help in identifying a person of interest in the disappearance of Aniah Haley Blanchard, the 19-year-old stepdaughter of UFC fighter Walt Harris. Police say the person was captured on surveillance video in the convenience store in Auburn where Blanchard was last seen on Oct. 23, the Auburn Plainsman reports."The individual in the video is described as a black male, early-mid 20’s, approximately 200 lbs," and is between 5'8" and 5'10" tall, police said in a tweet. The man "was observed leaving the area in what is described as a late 2000’s model Lincoln Town Car, silver or gray in color," police said.
Blanchard, a student at Southern Union State Community College, has not been heard from since Oct. 23. Her damaged Honda CRV was found at a Montgomery apartment complex two days later. Police say she was likely a victim of foul play. Harris and Blanchard's mother, Angela Haley-Harris, met Wednesday with fellow Alabaman Beth Holloway, whose daughter, Natalee, vanished in Aruba in 2005. "I know what it feels like to lose a child, but the situation with Natalee, her disappearance and what Beth has gone through, I can't relate to that," Haley-Harris tells ABC. "Now I can. I just feel like I needed her, I needed somebody who knows what I'm going through." (More missing teen stories.)
