'Elliott' of ET Fame Is Arrested in Oregon

Cue the "ET, make your one phone call home" jokes. TMZ reports Henry Thomas, the actor best know for playing Elliott in ET, was arrested for alleged DUI Monday night in Oregon. The site reports officers responded to an 8:30pm 911 call about a driver stopped in the center of an intersection in Washington County and found Thomas allegedly passed out behind the wheel. KATU reports Thomas allegedly told Tualatin police of his ET credentials. The 48-year-old was taken to Washington County Jail after a field sobriety test, reports the AP. He was booked on one charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants and released on his own recognizance Tuesday morning. (More DUI stories.)
