Monica Lewinsky to Make 15 Minutes of Shame

Monica Lewinksy, who was nationally demonized for her affair with President Bill Clinton when she was a White House intern, has a deal to make a documentary on public shaming. She'll produce and appear in the feature-length 15 Minutes of Shame for HBO Max, a streaming service due to kick off in the spring, Deadline reports. Lewinsky will partner with Max Joseph, who co-hosts Catfish on MTV. "Monica Lewinsky is an anti-bullying activist with unparalleled authority," an HBO executive said, per the Hollywood Reporter.

The film will include people around the world who've been publicly shamed. It will also examine the role of bullies, the media, and others, and will include input from psychologists and other experts. "The Price of Fame," Lewinsky's 2015 TED Talk, has been seen more than 16 million times and has inspired campaigns against bullying.
