A Florida beach that has had a series of shark attacks this summer had three more over the weekend. In separate attacks, sharks bit two people Saturday at New Smyrna Beach within 30 minutes. On Sunday, another person in the water was attacked, People reports. None of the injuries was serious. The attacks began Saturday afternoon when a surfer was bitten on the left hand, arm and wrist, officials said. She received stitches at a hospital. A shark bit a man on his ankle less than a half-hour later; he was treated at the beach. The next day, a four-foot shark attacked a man wading. The shark left when the man kicked it. Tracking Sharks lists 32 shark attacks in the US through July, 16 of them in Florida. (Last weekend, two people were attacked by sharks in the state.)
