Broadway star Audra McDonald is understandably nervous to perform in front of a live audience while naked. "Maybe strippers get real used to it. But for me there's nothing normal about that," the six-time Tony Award winner told the New York Times. Those comments came during a June discussion of her starring role in Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, a revival of the Terrence McNally play, which opens with a sex scene, per the Guardian. The Good Fight actress may be much more nervous following Sunday's show at Manhattan's Broadhurst Theatre. "To whoever it was in the audience that took a flash photo during our nude scene today: Not cool," the 49-year-old tweeted after the performance. "Not cool at all."

It's not clear if the photo got beyond the theater, which has a "no-photo" policy. A rep for the production notes that in the event an audience member is seen taking a photo, he or she is asked to delete it and empty their deleted folder "so there is no record of it." Anyone who refuses is "asked to leave the theater," the rep adds, noting "ushers and house management are vigilant." The BBC reports various other actresses have dealt with the same issue, including Kathleen Turner, who appeared nude in a West End production of The Graduate in 2000. McDonald stars alongside Michael Shannon in the Arin Arbus-directed play, which closes Sunday. (More Broadway stories.)
