If somebody you know recently came into possession of a bed of nails, a coffin, an electric chair, and assorted other strange items, they didn't get them at the Addams Family's garage sale. The props, used for acts of daring, were in a black Homestead Challenger trailer stolen from the Cincinnati Circus Company's private lot Saturday. The circus says the loss of the items, worth around $10,000, has forced it to borrow props from other circuses. It has also had to cut back on shows—and consequently, performers' pay. "Hopefully, you would leave it somewhere and give an anonymous call telling where it would be found," aerialist Nikki McGlosson tells WCPO. "You impacted a small business and everyone that works for it in a very harmful way, and I'd like you to know that." (More circus stories.)
