Soccer star Daniel Sturridge wants his dog back. The 29-year-old former Liverpool striker, who was released by the team this summer, posted a video to Instagram Tuesday revealing that thieves broke through a glass door and into his Los Angeles home, making off with his dog, the Guardian reports. "Yo, somebody please find my dog. I'll pay anything, I'm dead serious. I want my dog back, man," Sturridge said, a sentiment he repeated a few times in the emotional video. He went on to post a few photos of the pup, a Pomeranian named Lucky Lucci that has its own Instagram account touting the dog as the "only Pom in the [world] with Husky Markings."
In a separate post, he shared apparent surveillance footage of men in black hoodies outside the West Hollywood property. Per the Sun and the Metro, he told the dognappers if they return Lucci he will pay them $25,000 or more, and even shared his address in one video. "Bring the dog back to this address, I'll be moving out tomorrow or the next day. I want my dog back and I'll pay whatever. You ain't going to get more than that anyway. And if you are let me know and I'll pay more than them. I'll pay more than them." He said four bags had also been stolen, and he added that the break-in had occurred just hours before he posted his videos. (More burglary stories.)
