"We'll be right back, we'll be right back ... wow!" KCAL 9 anchors Sara Donchey and Juan Fernandez signed off in a state of alarm Friday when a segment involving race cars was interrupted by California's 7.1-magnitude earthquake, Mediaite reports. Donchey looked around in shock and grabbed Fernandez's arm as they clearly feared studio equipment would come tumbling down. "8:21 on the air here, we're experiencing very strong shaking," says Donchey, per the Hollywood Reporter. "I think we need to get under the desk." She was already on her way under and Fernandez wasn't far behind when they cut to commercial. (Read more about the Friday quake and what scientists are predicting.)
