Sheriff's Office Pleads for Kindness Over Guy's Mugshot

Orlando Lopez is facing a slew of drug charges after North Carolina sheriff's investigators stopped his car and allegedly found meth and cocaine inside, but the sheriff still wants you to be nice to him. Due to Lopez's appearance, the 43-year-old's mugshot got quite a bit of attention after the Robeson County Sheriff's Office posted it on Facebook Saturday, Fox News reports. After some commenters were less than kind, the sheriff's office updated its press release: "EVEN THOUGH THIS INDIVIDUAL HAS BEEN CHARGED FOR COMMITTING A CRIME, HE IS STILL SOMEONE'S CHILD/FAMILY MEMBER. IT IS OBVIOUS THAT HE HAS SUFFERED SOME TYPE OF INJURY. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM MAKING JOKES/NEGATIVE COMMENTS. HAVE A BLESSED DAY." (See another mugshot that made waves.)
