A previously unknown victim of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center finally has a name. We just don't know it yet. According to the New York City Medical Examiner, DNA testing of remains recovered in 2013 has confirmed a man as the 1,643rd victim to be identified and the first since July 2018, when 26-year-old financial worker Scott Michael Johnson was IDed through DNA testing, per the New York Post. Another victim was identified in 2017. Officials say the man's name is being withheld, per NBC New York, which didn't offer a reason. Some 1,110 victims, or about 40% of those who died in the attacks, remain unaccounted for, reports CNN. (More 9/11 victims stories.)
