Kelly Stafford has returned to the hospital and been placed back on pain medication and steroids, MSN reports. The wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford recently underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor. "They told me tapering off the steroids was going to be very difficult," she wrote in an Instagram post, adding, "I thought I could power through the pain. ... I was so wrong." Her surgery took 12 hours after doctors found an abnormal vein. On Monday, per People, she'd posted that it had been nearly a week since she'd seen her three children and that she was in pain but trying to hold off on her meds so she could be lucid when she saw them. "Balancing kids and brain surgery is nearly impossible," she wrote.
