Amy Schumer loves her husband because of his autism, not in spite of it. Chef Chris Fischer, whom Schumer married last year, "has autism spectrum disorder. He's on the spectrum," Schumer says in her Netflix special Growing, which was filmed in Chicago in December and began streaming Tuesday. "All of the characteristics that make it clear that he's on the spectrum are all of the reasons that I fell madly in love with him. That's the truth. He says whatever is on his mind. He keeps it so real," she adds, per OK!

The actress-comedian says she "knew from the beginning that my husband's brain was a little different than mine." He tells her when an outfit looks bad because he "doesn't care about social norms or what you expect him to say or do." So maybe he's not so different from Schumer. "She has always cared deeply about not caring too much, a contradiction that has (fueled) her entire career," Jason Zinoman writes in a profile at the Independent, which opens with Schumer, pregnant and suffering from hyperemesis, throwing up in Zinoman's presence.
