Felicite Tomlinson, the younger sister of One Direction star Louis Tomlinson, was trying to make some changes for her health, recently announcing she was giving up drinking and smoking. That, and her age, is what makes news out of London particularly shocking: The 18-year-old suffered a heart attack there and died Wednesday, reports TMZ. The One Direction singer's reps confirmed Felicite's death to Fox News. Felicite, a fashion designer and one of seven of Louis Tomlinson's siblings, was said to have collapsed in her apartment; a person believed to have been with her at the time called 911, Scotland Yard notes, per the Guardian. Paramedics couldn't revive her, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Felicite was said to have been close to her superstar big brother, and her death adds another tragedy for the Tomlinson family: Their mother, Johannah Deakin, died of leukemia in 2016 at the age of 43. Sources tell the Sun that Louis Tomlinson is "devastated and distraught" over his sister's death—he has already reportedly pulled out of a scheduled appearance at Friday's Comic Relief charity event. There's been no official cause of death yet listed; it's so far been deemed "unexplained," per a Metropolitan Police Service statement cited by USA Today. An autopsy and toxicology tests will be carried out. (More One Direction stories.)
