Luke Perry has been laid to rest in Tennessee, where the actor had owned a farm since 1995. His death certificate, obtained by USA Today and other outlets, says his body was transported from California to Tennessee and lists a funeral home near Nashville as having handled his burial, though, confusingly, that funeral home tells the Blast it did not have anything to do with the burial. A source tells the site Perry's family is purposely keeping the burial site private. The death certificate also reveals Perry's official cause of death, ischemic cerebrovascular accident, which is the most common type of stroke; it confirms he suffered the massive stroke five days before his March 4 death, per TMZ.
The news comes as TMZ also obtained one of Perry's "save the date" cards for his upcoming wedding with fiancee Wendy Madison Bauer; the gossip site says the card reveals they were planning to wed Aug. 17 in Los Angeles. Bauer broke her silence on Perry's death over the weekend, saying in a statement, "The past 11½ years with Luke were the happiest years of my life, and I am grateful to have had that time with him." In entertainment news, the upcoming Beverly Hills, 90210 reunion will honor Perry in some way, Variety reports; as for Riverdale, in which Perry starred until his death, co-star Cole Sprouse recently told the View, "I can't go too much into the spoilers of it, but we do have something planned narratively," ETOnline reports. (Perry's daughter says she's been "shamed" for how she's grieving.)
