Rock 'n' roll's "first great wild" man isn't likely to be tamed by his latest setback. That's per his publicist, who says that Jerry Lee Lewis will likely be performing again soon after a stroke he suffered on Thursday, per NBC News. "Last night, Jerry Lee Lewis suffered a minor stroke," a post on the 83-year-old's official Facebook page read Friday. "He is with his family, recuperating in Memphis and the doctors expect a full recovery." Publicist Zach Farnum says the singer, known for such hits as "Great Balls of Fire" and "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," will still likely play at some upcoming performances he'd committed to, including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in April, per the Guardian. The Facebook post adds that "the Killer looks forward to getting back into the studio soon to record a Gospel record." (More Jerry Lee Lewis stories.)
