R. Kelly pleaded not guilty to sexual abuse charges in court Monday in Chicago, the Sun-Times reports. The singer, 52, appeared in court but barely spoke; his lawyer entered the plea on his behalf. Kelly, who was wearing an orange jail jumpsuit, said his name when asked by the judge, and said "something inaudible," per the Sun-Times, as his attorney entered his plea. Kelly's lawyer also told the judge the singer has turned in his passport, CNN reports. The 10 counts against Kelly involve four alleged victims, three of whom were underage at the time of the alleged abuse. Kelly's next court date is March 22. (He is still having a hard time making bail.)
