It's like a bizarre game of telephone gone hysterically wrong. As the Wichita Eagle explains, it began when a gent in a bathroom stall of a Home Depot in Wichita, Kansas, announced something like, "You all need to get out of here because I'm fixin' to blow it up," in reference to his plans to defecate. A guy in another stall laughed and tried to continue the joke. When he left his stall, he went up to a Home Depot worker at a urinal and said, "Somebody told me there's a bomb in the building, you need to leave the building." The worker left and told store security, who called 911.

"We just had a customer here made what may have been a bomb threat," said the caller, per KWCH. "He said, uh, 'Somebody told me there's a bomb in here and you need to leave the building.' He said it three times." Officers were able to track down the man who spoke to the Home Depot staffer, and he explained that he was just trying to be funny by relaying the original poop-warning joke. Police chalked up the false alarm to "men's bathroom humor." (This gynecologist's joke did not land, either.)
