(AP Photo/Arizona Department of Public Safety) Police arrested rapper DMX early this morning on animal-abuse and drug charges, the Arizona Republic reports. Police seized five pit bull puppies, and unknown quantities of marijuana and cocaine from the house northeast of Phoenix. According to a lawyer for the man otherwise known as Earl Simmons, the raid wasn't unexpected after authorities seized 12 dogs in August, which tests showed weren't being properly cared for. There is, however, no evidence DMX used the dogs in fights. Read These Next Trump aide gives punny response to Springsteen. Mexico's missing count is moving in the wrong direction.
