The numbers are in for the first full week of sales for Michelle Obama's memoir, and they're as strong as expected: Becoming sold 1.4 million print and digital copies from Nov. 13-20, reports the AP. And it's not just in the US: Crown Publishing says Becoming is the No. 1 nonfiction title for adults in the UK, Germany, France, Holland, Spain, Denmark, and Finland. Barnes & Noble, meanwhile, reported that the book had the best first-week sales of any title this year, overtaking the Bob Woodward book Fury, reports CNN. In fact, no adult book has performed as well at B&N since Go Set a Watchman in 2015. Becoming also is atop Amazon's best-seller list. (The former first lady had some things to say about President Trump in the memoir.)
