Here's What Killed Mac Miller

It was a mix of fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol that killed rapper Mac Miller, according to the newly released toxicology report from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. The report names accidental "mixed drug toxicity" as the 26-year-old's official cause of death, Variety reports. He had publicly struggled with addiction and referenced those struggles in his work. The report also reveals that when he was found unresponsive at his home Sept. 7, authorities found empty liquor bottles, bags containing a white powdery substance, loose pills, a bottle of prescription medication, and more strewn about the residence. Miller's drug abuse was part of the reason he and Ariana Grande broke up in May; she recently referred to him as an "angel" in a new song. (More drug overdose stories.)
