Four months ago, Bode and Morgan Miller were thrust into unimaginable grief when their 19-month-old daughter, Emeline, drowned at a neighbor's home. On Friday, however, the couple and their 3-year-old son, Nash, embraced what Today deems "a little light in the darkness." Us Weekly reports that Morgan Miller, 31, who was about five months pregnant when Emeline died, gave birth Friday to a baby boy, whose name hasn't yet been revealed.

Per People, the couple's midwife, Lindsey Meehleis, told Today the baby arrived in an at-home birth pool. "As Morgan pushed, his head filled Bode's hands," Meehleis said. "With one more push, he removed the bag of water that veiled him and caught their baby boy. Morgan's fingers grasped onto their son, who filled such empty arms." She added: "While nothing will ever replace the feeling of aching arms to hold Emmy again, this baby provided something new this day: joy, inspiration, and hope." Bode Miller, 40, also has a 5-year-old son and 10-year-old daughter from previous relationships. (More Bode Miller stories.)
