GOP May Have Big Say in Dems' Indiana Primary

In the red state of Indiana, the GOP could have a major say in the fortunes of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in Tuesday's primary, the Wall Street Journal reports. Republicans could account for up to 15% of voters in the Democratic race because of the state's open-primary system. As a result, both candidates are venturing into GOP stomping grounds to round up votes.

"Any reasonably sized voting bloc could call the election," said a member of the Obama camp. "We're not reluctant to go into any district to press our case." Today, he will be stumping with three prominent Republican supporters that have ties to Indiana. Clinton, meanwhile, may benefit from a strategy pushed by Rush Limbaugh and others to keep the race going as long as possible.
