President Trump's criticism of James Comey may be having an unintended benefit for the latter: The former FBI chief's book shot to the No. 1 spot on Amazon's best-seller list this weekend, reports the Washington Post. That's all the more remarkable given that the book, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership, is not due for release until April 17. Over the weekend, Trump referred to the "sanctimonious" Comey in a tweet, giving Comey a nice opportunity to plug the book.

"Mr. President, the American people will hear my story very soon," he tweeted. "And they can judge for themselves who is honorable and who is not." Pre-orders pushed the book into the top spot, though it had fallen back to No. 2 by Monday morning, notes Politico. Expect another surge soon as Comey begins a series of high-profile interviews in advance of the book's release. (More James Comey stories.)
