Bank Robbery Suspects Caught, Canadian-Style

The US has its Florida crimes and Canada has ... this. Two suspects accused of robbing a bank in New Brunswick were caught at a Tim Hortons drive-thru, reports the CBC. For those unfamiliar, the coffee chain is virtually a national institution in its native country. The incident began when an unarmed man robbed a bank in Moncton, then fled in a car driven by a woman. An officer spotted the car soon after on a highway and began pursuit, and other officers joined in. The suspects got off at an exit and proceeded to the drive-thru, perhaps in an attempt to elude the cops. Whatever the case, the 26-year-old man and 24-year-old woman were nabbed before they could even place an order. Cops recovered several thousand dollars. (More Canada stories.)
