Pop star Ariana Grande stunned young fans when she popped into Royal Manchester Children's Hospital to say hello on Friday, the Telegraph reports. The surprise visit, ahead of Grande's benefit concert Sunday, cheered kids recovering from injuries from the May 22 suicide bombing at Manchester Arena. Social media pics show children beaming and hugging the singer, who handed out gifts and signed T-shirts, per the Manchester Evening News. "I got to meet my queen today love you @ArianaGrande xxxxxx," Jaden Farrell-Mann tweeted. The 10-year-old has had two operations for leg fractures and shrapnel wounds. Her mother says Jaden was watching TV when Grande came in: "She was absolutely amazed! It was a complete surprise." Earlier, a star-struck Jaden met Prince William. "This means more to us than all the amazing things people have done this week," her dad tells the Telegraph.

Lily Harrison, 8, "felt like a rock star" after meeting Grande, says her dad, who confesses to the BBC that "I'm a bit in love with Ariana now." Grande, 23, who said the attack left her "broken," will perform Sunday in the "One Love" tribute concert to aid the victims, joined by Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, and Take That, among others. Meanwhile, police arrested a 24-year-old man in the Manchester area Friday night in connection with the attack that killed 22 at the close of Grande's gig, per the BBC. So far, 17 people have been arrested and 11 remain in custody to be questioned. (A "possible terrorist threat" shut down a German music festival on Friday.)
