Add Joe Montana to the list of people not too pleased that San Francisco's Millennium Tower is sinking. The former 49ers quarterback, one of the luxury tower's residents, is suing the developer, alleging in court documents that the company hid problems with the building—which it knew about as long ago as 2008—while simultaneously making a deal with Montana to promote condo sales there. Montana and his wife, in exchange for their promotional pitches, got a reduced price on leasing and later buying their condo. They are now seeking to be reimbursed the $2.7 million purchase price, plus another $1 million in "consequential damages" related to their marketing of the property, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. (The tower has already sunk 16 inches and is leaning two inches to the northwest, too.)
