One of television's most-popular looks at the lives of working-class Americans may be coming back. Deadline reports networks—including ABC and Netflix—are currently bidding on an eight-episode revival of Roseanne, which ended its original run nearly 20 years ago. Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, and Sara Gilbert are signed on, and producers are in the process of getting the rest of the original cast on board, according to the report.

When asked recently if he would be interested in reprising his role as Dan in a reboot, Goodman replied, "Oh, hell yes." For her part, Barr mused in 2009 about where the characters would be now, including Roseanne opening a medical marijuana dispensary and Dan faking his own death. A revival of Roseanne would join other recently resurrected series like The X-Files, Fuller House, Gilmore Girls, and Will & Grace. (More Roseanne (sitcom) stories.)
