Energy stocks led a broad decline on Wall Street, giving the market its third loss in a row, the AP reports. Financial stocks also dropped Thursday. Wells Fargo gave up 3.3% after Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway said it was selling some of its stake for regulatory reasons. Pier 1 Imports plunged 9% after reporting disappointing sales. The Standard & Poor's 500 index fell 15 points, or 0.7%, to 2,328. The Dow Jones industrial average lost 138 points, or 0.7%, to 20,453. The Nasdaq composite gave up 31 points, or 0.5%, to 5,805. Small-company stocks fell more than the rest of the market. The Russell 2000 index lost 13 points, or 1%, to 1,345. US markets will be closed Friday for the Good Friday holiday.
