Sean Spicer has already become the whipping boy for Saturday Night Live, but now another late-night show is taking a crack at him. Wednesday's Daily Show analyzed clips of the famously combative press secretary interacting with reporters and wondered: "Does @SeanSpicer treat the press like a bunch of kindergarteners?" The show presented its own answer via a video merging a real clip of Spicer at a press conference with one showing a classroom of a dozen inquisitive 5-year-olds, all ready to pounce on the White House spokesman with their queries.
As the kids give Spicer the third degree on everything from feeding the classroom fish to Russia and "the pee-pee tapes," Spicer (who, remember, is actually reacting to adult reporters) turns on his teacher voice, responding with disciplinary statements such as "one at a time," "can you stop interrupting other people," and "we're going to raise our hands like big boys and girls." There's even a riff on Spicer's back-and-forth with reporter April Ryan in which he told her to stop shaking her head. (More The Daily Show stories.)
