Kellyanne Conway "has been counseled" after recommending that Americans "go buy Ivanka's stuff" Thursday morning, White House press secretary Sean Spicer says. Conway issued the line on Fox & Friends following President Trump's denouncement of Nordstrom after the retailer ditched Ivanka Trump's fashion line. Conway, who also called the fashion line "wonderful," urged people to "find it online," and admitted she was giving the label "a free commercial" during her appearance, may have violated federal ethics rules when plugging it. Politico reports that Spicer was asked whether the White House believes she crossed an ethical line, and after saying she has been counseled, Spicer added, "that's all we're going to go with. She's been counseled on that subject, and that's it." (More Kellyanne Conway stories.)
