Last week, the recount of votes in Michigan was halted; on Monday, Pennsylvania followed suit. Per the AP, US District Judge Paul Diamond squashed the Green Party's bid to retally paper ballots in the state, as well as to check out some counties' machines for hacking evidence. The third state that the Green Party, led by Jill Stein, has been trying to re-examine is Wisconsin, which is expected to wrap up its own recount Monday. At last look in that state, Clinton had taken 25 new votes and still trailed Trump by 22,000 or so. The federal deadline for all recounts to be completed is Tuesday, per the Epoch Times.
Donald Trump had won all three states over Hillary Clinton by thin margins, and the recount request (and subsequent Stein fundraising to pay for it) was partly spurred by a report last month that a group of computer scientists and election attorneys had found "persuasive evidence" that suggested results in those swing states "may have been manipulated or hacked." In Pennsylvania, whose older voting system was called a "national disgrace" by Stein on Friday (she also called Michigan's system a "hot mess" over the weekend), Trump won over Clinton by about 44,000 votes out of the 6 million that came in.
